Educator and Doula Workshops
The workshops remain valid towards certification for five years for Educators and three years for Doulas from the date they were held. We encourage those in the certification program to attend the workshop early in their training, but anytime during the training period is acceptable.
Students enrolled in Modified and/or Accelerated Programs are required to complete workshops in the allotted time frame. Accelerated Program Students must complete both workshops in order to be certified.
THE CHILDBIRTH EDUCATOR WORKSHOP (CEW)
A prerequisite for becoming a Certified Childbirth Educator for BirthWorks requires attendance at our three-day dynamic and experiential workshop held regionally. In the workshop you will experience an effective learning model, that will help you when facilitating your own classes.

Special Hostess Discounts:
• If 5-7 people attend, hostess receives $150 off the $450 workshop price
• If 8-9 people attend, hostess receives $250 off.
• If 10 or more people attend, hostess attends FREE.
Other Discounts:
Register for a BirthWorks International childbirth educator workshop with a friend and both of you will receive a $20 discount.
When five or more people register at the same time, each person gets $55 off the regular workshop price! CCE's from other organizations qualify for a 15% discount and will earn 23 CEU's. BirthWorks Certified Childbirth Educators and Doulas who are going for dual certification also receive a $50 discount.
