We are interested in knowing about your background, interests, and aspirations, as well as your academic and extracurricular achievements. We look forward to receiving your application and getting to know you. The following overview should help you as you prepare your BWI application.

The BirthWorks Application Consists Of:

  1. The Application for Admission, which BirthWorks uses exclusively includes instructions and tips)
  2. $25 application fee or fee waiver
  3. Tuition preference (Finance Docket is included)
  4. The BirthWorks Profile, required of all applicants as it includes important BirthWorks-specific information and required essay

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, however, once a portion of the application is submitted, the remaining pieces must be received within 10 business days. Applicants seeking Tuition Plans & Financial Assistance are strongly encouraged to file their application in advance to ensure proper processing. It is important that you submit your Application and fee or fee waiver as soon as possible (fee waivers are accepted online at applicationedit.birthworks.org and fees are accepted at applicationfee.birthworks.org) The Profile can be sent at the same time or very soon thereafter.

For applicants previously certified or applicants interested in Modified or Accelerated Programs, an admissions application should be submitted prior to applying for Mod/Accel. A formal advisor call is also required for admission. Applicants interested in the review of prior course work also are encouraged (though not required) to have an advisor call. Submit an online request for the Advisor call by visiting advise.birthworks.org or call the BirthWorks International Office of Admissions (1-888-862-4784) to schedule a advisor call. After submitting your application for admission, complete a Mod/Accell form at modaccell.birthworks.org Though BirthWorks offers applicants the opportunity to speak with prospective students and members, advisor calls are not required for any other program.

Email is our primary method for communicating with you regarding your application. We will utilize email to request missing application materials, to verify information, and to give you special instructions. Please provide us with a current email address that you check frequently. Please carefully type or print your email address on the Application for Admission and Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) Application.
